Binwalk is an open-source tool for analyzing, reverse engineering and extracting firmware images. A few days ago I decided to reverse engineer my router’s firmware image with binwalk. To use a BIN file to install a GOG.com video game, first, make sure each of the game’s BIN files and its setup.exe file are located in the same folder.
